From an unidentified contemporary newspaper: Couple at home here following recent marriage. The marriage of Miss Eunice R. Jonsrud, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jonsrud of Sandy, and Gordon L. Barnum, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Barnum of Independence, was solemnized June 26 at a pretty ceremony in the garden of the bride's home, Reverend F. Elmo Robinson of Portland officiating.
Mrs. Theodore O. Remus sang. She was accompanied by Miss Constance Bougher.
Miss Dorothy Jonsrud was her sister's maid of honor. Mrs. Lee Barnum of Vancouver, Wash., was matron of honor, and Miss Edith Ross and Miss Edwina Hartley were bridesmaids.
Lee Barnum acted as best man and ushers were Philip Jonsrud, Roland Jonsrud and Chester Murphy of White Salmon.
Kathleen Hartley and Diana Murphy were flower girls.
Presiding at the tables at the reception which followed were Mrs. Beatrice Wright and Mrs. C. A. Lindell of Portland. Assisting were Mrs. R. S. Hartley, Mrs. Joseph Jonsrud, Ella and Anna Schwartz and Eva Schultz of Portland, Mrs. Chester Murphy of White Salmon, June Olson of Gresham and Mrs. A. E. Jonsrud.
Mr. and Mrs. Barnum are now at home in Portland.
The bride attended Reed College and is a graduate of the University of Oregon. Mr. Barnum attended the Oregon Normal School at Monmouth.

Sandy - In another of the romantic month's wedding ceremonies, Miss Eunice Jonsrud, daughter of Robert Jonsrud, and granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Jonsrud, early-day pioneers, became the bride of Mr. Gordon Barnum, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Barnum of Independence. The Rev. F. Elmo Robinson of Portland read the ceremony in an out-of-door setting at Sandy. Miss Dorothy Jonsrud was her sister's maid of honor; Mrs. Edwin Hartley, Miss Peggy Ross, Portland, and Thelma Barnum Vancouver, were other attendants. Diana Murphy and Kathleen Hartley scattered flowers in the bridal pathway. Ushers were: Messrs. Philip Jonsrud, Lee Barnum, Gordon Jonsrud and Chester Murphy.
The bride wore white net over taffeta and her mother's wedding veil.
About 70 guests were received by the couple. During the festivities a cable was read from the bride's cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Halling of Tsing Tao, China. Many Portland friends of the couple attended the wedding. Out-of-state guests were Miss Marian Barnum-Patterson of San Diego and Mrs. Don Barnum of Washington, D.C.
