Veva M. Barnum, Lyndonville, Has Wedding in Home. Becomes Bride of Elwin Wienke at High Noon; Many Prenuptial Fetes. Lyndonville. — The marriage of Miss Veva Marie Barnum, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Barnum, to Elwin Wienke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Wienke, of Lyndonville, was solemnized Saturday at high noon at the home of the bride's parents in Lake avenue, this village, by the Rev. Louis J. Falk, pastor of Yates Baptist church. The bride was attired in white
silk crepe and wore a corsage of sweetheart roses and gypsophilla. The maid of honor, Miss Gene Barnum, sister of the bride, wore a gown of blue silk crepe and a corsage of Johanna Hill rosebuds and gypsophilla. Harold Wienke, of Lockport, acted as his brother's best man. Following the reception dinner was served at the home of Mrs. Addie Brown, a neighbor, for the immediate families. Ten were seated at the bridal table, which was decorated In yellow and white flowers and centered with a three-tiered wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom. Mr. and Mrs. Wienke left on a short trip and upon their return, will reside In the Tom's apartment, North Main street, Lyndonville. Out-of-town guests were present from Rochester. Lockport and Medina. Many pre-nuptial affairs were held honoring the bride, which included a variety shower given by Mrs. Lee Hillman, Mrs. Sidney Engall and Mrs. William Bandeman; a variety shower by Mrs. Vernon
