A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
Aaron married Reue Parsons on 18 May 1774 at the First Congregational Church of Danbury, recorded in Vol 5, p 17. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Ebenezer Baldwin. Based on census enumerations, Aaron was born about 1856, and would therefore have been only about 18 years old when he married Reue. This also seems to preclude the occasional reference to an earlier marriage to Martha Foster.
