A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From The Journal & Republican, Lowville, N.Y., Thursday, May 21, 1914: At 11 o'clock Monday forenoon at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Henry C. Abell, State Street, was celebrated the marriage of their daughter, Miss Marguerite Abell, to Mr. C. Ray Barnum, station agent on the Lowville and Beaver River Railroad at Croghan. Only a few friends outside of the immediate families of the contracting parties were present to witness the ceremony, which was performed by the Rev. William A. Braithwaite, rector of Trinity Episcopal Church.
