A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Kingston Daily Freeman, Kingston, NY, Monday, February 14, 1955: St. John’s Episcopal Church was the setting here Saturday evening for the marriage of Miss Barbara Barnum Krom, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John Burns Krom to Frank B. Matthews, son of John W. Matthews of Richmond Park.
Mrs. Matthews, a member of the Junior League of Kingston is an alumna of the Emma Willard School of Troy. She is the granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. James Krom of Saugerties and Mrs. Anson Hoyt Barnum of New York and reading, Pa. and the late Mr. Barnum.
