Milo was a Civil War veteran of Bedford, Ohio. On Aug 9, 1862, at the age of 20, he was mustered into Company "B", 103rd Ohio Volunteer Infantry when it was raised in Cleveland. He enlisted as a Private. He mustered out on June 12, 1865 at Raleigh, North Carolina. Milo was active in Royal Dunham Post No. 177, DAR, Bedford. He died June 24, 1919 at his home at 893 Broadway, Bedford, Ohio. He was buried Thursday January 26, 1919, at 2:30.m. from his late residence.
