From the Bridgeport Post, Tuesday, August 5, 1969: Arthur R. Barnum, 79, of Rosedale Street, retired supervisor of Bryant Electric Company died suddenly Sunday in Park City hospital. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Stratford. Born in Stratford [N.B., He was actually born in New York City], Mr. Barnum lived in this area all his life. Survivors are two nieces, Mrs. Adelaide Bursey and Mrs. Anthony Cappiello both of Bridgeport.
