In Danbury, May 6, 1966. Howard B. Barnum, 74, of 11 Pembroke Rd., a retired dairy farmer, died unexpectedly early Friday afternoon at his home. He had been in ill health for some time. Born in Danbury, Sept. 18, 1891, he was the son of the late Amzie and Capitola (Barnum) Barnum. Mr. Barnum was a veteran of World War I, and had served in France with the American Expeditionary Forces. He retired as a dairy farmer during World War II. He leaves a brother, Luther A. Barnum; a nephew, George C. Barnum Jr.; and two nieces, Mrs. Arthur Jenkins and Mrs. Richard Relyea, all of Danbury. A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Tomlinson Homestead, 336 Main St., with the Rev. William T. Kennedy, Minister of the New Fairfield Congregational Church officiating. Burial will be in Pembroke Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
