Notes for Chester Lenoir BARNUM


In Danbury, August 2nd, 1960. Chester L. Barnum of East Pembroke road, died at his home Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Barnum was born in Danbury, March 17, 1893, son of the late Amzi and Capitola Barnum. He spent his entire life in this community. He is survived by two brothers, Luther and Howard, both of Danbury; one nephew and two nieces. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Alan B. Hutchinson of the New Fairfield Congregational church, Friday, at 2 p.m. at the Green Funeral home, 57 Main street. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery, Bethel. The funeral home will be open Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral of Chester L. Barnum. Danbury -The funeral of Chester L. Barnum of East Pembroke road was held from the Green Funeral home yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Services were conducted by the Rev. Alan B. Hutchinson, pastor of the New Fairfield Congregational church. Bearers were Francis Lockwood, Morris Esposito, Charles Seeley and Francis Krupinsky. Burial was in Elmwood cemetery, Bethel.
