From the Niagara Falls Gazette, NY, Saturday, March 20, 1943: Kenyonville Resident Had Spent Most of Life in Michigan. Lyndonville, N. Y. — Funeral services for Leroy Barnum, 82, years old, who died at the home of his son Dale Barnum at Kenyonville, N.Y., yesterday (March 19) will be held at the Warren funeral home here Monday at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Glen Alty, pastor of the Kenyonville Methodist church, will officiate. Interment will be in Yates cemetery.
Mr. Barnum was born on September 11, 1861, in Barry County, Michigan where he spent most of his life. Besides his son, his is survived by a granddaughter Miss Delores Ann Barnum of Kenyonville, and one brother Myron (sic, Miron) Barnum, of Hastings, Mich.
He was buried in Yates Center Cemetery.
