Notes for Anna PEET


Anna's parentage is not proven, but is indicated by the 1800 Census of Milton, Cayuga, New York. On page 588 Stephen Peat is listed with two males 16-26, one male 45 and up, one female under 10, two females 16-26 and one female 45 and up. Milton later was renamed Genoa, which is where Anna's daughter Jane was born. The 1860 Census for Barry County, Michigan shows Annie Barnum, 84, living with her daughter Esther and husband Moses Durkee.
She was buried in Fuller Cemetery.
