A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
Roby apparently married Stephen Decatur Barnum at about the age of 16 years, since she was 19 at the time of the 1860 census and the couple had a three-year old child. In The Barnum Family, 1517-1904 she is listed as Mrs. B. A. Hopkins, indicating that she most likely married B. A. Hopkins following the death of her first husband in 1900.
