A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Oneonta Star, Oneonta, New York, Thursday, February 18, 1954: Mrs. Elizabeth B. Barnum, 85, of 7 Watkins Ave., died at Jones Nursing Home yesterday after an illness of four and a half years. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon in Windham. Burial will be in Maplecrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Barnum was born in Greene County, August 29, 1868, daughter of Abner and Fanny (Slater) Bray. She was the widow of Jabez Barnum.
Surviving are four sons, Olin, Walter, William and Ralph; a daughter Mrs. Otis Planck, and a brother, Walter Bray, Davenport.
