He is buried in what is variously called the Barnum, Wright or Hawks Hollow Cemetery, in Burke, Franklin County, New York. It is located at the intersection of Route 11 and Route 122, approximately 300 feet from the road, and on a knoll. There is a Masonic emblem on his gravestone.
