The sources says: Mary W. Barnum, dsaughter of D. W. & Eva Barnum, was born at Long Point Bay, Norfolk County, May 24, 1836, and died in city of Brantford, Sept 16th 1869; survived by her parents. For 16 years Mary worked as a teacher. One of the last places where she taught was the Mohawk Indian Institute. Dec 15, 1869, page 199.O.
