A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Troy Times, May 11, 1915: Mrs. J. J. Davies of Cassville, N. Y., formerly Miss Emma C. Barnum of Troy, died at her home last night from pneumonia. Up to a few years ago she was for many years a teacher in the Troy public schools, and for a time was Principal at the Troy Orphan Asylum. While a resident of Troy she was a member of the First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband and a brother, Milton B. Barnum of Albany, formerly of Troy.
