A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Niagara Falls Gazette, December 20, 1971: Clifford Barnum, 76 of Barker, NY died December 19, 1971. He had been in ill health for several years. Born in Waterport, NY he resided in Somerset where he operated his own farm until retirement in 1967. He had been employed by the Ridge Road Express Co. for 20 years and was active as a zoning officer and building inspector for the Town of Somerset from 1965-1968. Surviving are his widow Gladys Barnum; daughter Glory Ray of Barker, a son David Barnum; a stepmother Flora Barnum of Middleport, four grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Burial in Somerset Cemetery.
