From the Elmira Gazette & Free Press, Elmira, NY, Monday, October 22, 1906: Mrs. Abigail Symonds died yesterday morning at the home of her son A.D. Symonds in Lowman, New York. She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. J. B. Stout of Lansing, Michigan; Mrs. Levi Brown of Big Flats and Mrs. Judd Miller of this city; two sons, Newman of St. Louis, Missouri and A. D. Symonds of Lowman. The funeral will be held at the residence of her daughter Mrs. Judd Miller tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be made in Woodlawn Cemetery.
