Barnum, 84, of Beacon, a former resident of Kingston, died Thursday in Tralel Nursing Home in Beacon after a long illness. He was a retired Beacon carpenter and painter…A native of Ashland, Greene County, he had made his home in Kingston prior to going to Beacon in 1931…Surviving are his wife the former Elizabeth Scofield; two daughters, Mrs. Vera Goertz and Miss Ruth Barnum, Beacon, also six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston.
