A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Journal & Republican, Lowville, New York, April 21, 1910: Denmark, NY---Mrs. Mary E. Barnum, only daughter of Mr. & Mrs. George Barnum, departed this life at the home of her parents April 17th, after a long and painful illness at the age of 49 years. Miss Barnum was devoted to her home and was ever ready and willing to look after the welfare of her aged parents. Mr. & Mrs. Barnum will miss their daughter's tender care as they are both nearing their four score years, and are the only survivors of the family. One son died several years ago. Her funeral was held Thursday. Interment was made in the family plot in Hillside cemetery.
