Irving A. BARNUM, 75, of 12493 East Lake Road, Lyndonville, died Sunday morning at the Medina Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Mr. BARNUM was born May 30, 1904, in the Town of Yates, the son of William H. and Anna SMITH BARNUM. He had lived in the Town of Yates all his life. He had farmed up until his retirement in 1959 and was a member of the Methodist Church of Kuckville.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Earl (Dorothy) DUNHAM of Waterport; a brother, Clifton Barnum of Lyndonville; five sisters-in-law, Mrs. Newell (Adah) BARNUM, Mrs. Lowell (Marie) BARNUM, Mrs. William (Alice) BARNUM, Mrs. Alton (Mary) BARNUM, and Mrs. Vernon (Edith) BARNUM, all of Lyndonville, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no prior calling hours. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. for friends and relatives at the Barnes-Tuttle Inc. Funeral Home, 112 North Main St., Lyndonville. The Rev. Ray Hazlett will officiate and burial will be in Lynhaven Cemetery, Lyndonville. Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
