A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Green County Examiner-Record, Catskill, N. Y., Thursday, September 23, 1943: Mrs. Julia Anne Rickard, widow of the late George Rickard, passed away at her home in Maplecrest on September 9, 1943. Although Mrs. Rickard had been in poor health for several years, her death came as a distinct shock to her many friends. She was born in Jewett on September 9, 1871 and was the daughter of the late Bethuel and Mary Bunt Barnum. Burial was in the family plot in the Maplecrest cemetery. Mrs. Rickard is survived by two brothers, John Barnum of Haines Falls and Levi Barnum of Maplecrest and several nieces and nephews.
