In the Iowa State Census of 1915 Mary was enumerated as a housewife, affiliated with the Baptist Church, and with one year of college.

Rites Arranged for Mrs. Wixom. Funeral at 2 P. M. on Saturday. Funeral services for Mrs. Mary A. Wixom, 7006 Maryland drive, will be held at 2 p. rn. Saturday at the Church of the Open Bible, Nineteenth st. and Cottage Grove ave. The Rev. John R. Richey officiating.
Burial will be at Magnolia cemetery. Mrs. Wixom, who had been a Des Moines resident 27 years, died Wednesday night.
She is survived by her husband, Orion M. Wixom; two daughters, Florence E. Wixom, Des Moines, and Mrs. Vera M. Labertew, Grimes, Ia.; a brother, Wilbur H. Barnum, Sterling, Ill., and two sisters, E. Daisy Barnum, Sterling, Ill., and Mrs. Rena Tenney, St. Peter, Minn.
