From Florida Today, 10 February 2008: Florice Barnum - Titusville. Florice Mozelle Thompson Barnum, 89, went home to her Lord after a long illness. She died at home with loved ones by her side. She was born in Coleman, TX. At a very young age, her family of nine children and parents, Seaborn Jones Thompson and Tinnie Maude Wood Thompson moved to Alamogordo, NM. Here she grew up, met and married Barak G. Barnum. She was widowed after 61 years. They had five children, Shirleen (HD) McDaniel of Titusville, FL, Barak Glen (deceased), May (Mac) McLaurin of Richlands, NC, Fay Ward of Gridley, CA and Charles (Janet) of Reno, NV. Florice had 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Florice had no surviving siblings. She was also predeceased by grandchildren, Nannette McDaniel, Iva Rising and Kathy Ward; grandson, James Clark Jr.; and great-grandson, Stuart B. Wisdom. Florice was a Baptist and loved the Lord. She will forever be in our hearts.
