From the Amarillo Globe-News, May 11, 2009: Spearman - Lorene Kunselman, 86, died Saturday, May 9, 2009. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in First Christian Church with Jim Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Texhoma Cemetery in Texhoma, Texas, by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman. Lorene was born July 10, 1922. She married Darius Barnum in 1938. He preceded her in death in 1974. She married Don Kunselman in 1975. He preceded her in death in 2004. She was a member of First Christian Church. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Freeman, in 2002. Survivors include a son, Bill Barnum and wife Delma of Stratford, Okla.; two stepsons, Carl Kunselman and wife Janie of Spearman and Jim Kunselman and wife Verla of Plainview; two stepdaughters, Karen Clawson and husband Larry of Sudan and LaVon Reid and husband Randy of Denison; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to First Christian Church, P.O. Box 637, Spearman, TX 79081; or Hansford Manor, 707 Roland St., Spearman, TX 79081.
