Published in the TC Palm on 25 Feb 2008: Joshua David Barnum, 21, died Feb. 21, 2008 at his home. He was born in Worcester, MA and moved to Vero Beach in 1995, coming from Spencer, MA. He received his GED from Vero Beach High School and had been a waiter at the Quail Valley Golf and Country Club in Vero Beach. He enjoyed skateboarding, dance and gymnastics. Survivors include his parents, Lisa and David Barnum of Vero Beach; a sister, Rebecca Barnum of Vero Beach; grandparents, Barbara L. Charland of Vero Beach, and Rosaire and Anne Charland of Woonsocket, RI; and great-grandmother, Lucy Brunell of Southbridge, MA. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Watts and Rhoda Barnum. Memorial contributions may be made to the Joshua Barnum Fund at the Indian River Federal Credit Union in Vero Beach. Services: Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A memorial celebration will be at 7 p.m. Feb. 27 at the funeral home, with the Rev.
