A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
In the New Fairfield or Town Center Cemetery, the oldest existing
cemetery in the town of New Fairfield. It is located on the east side
of Brush Hill Road (Route 39) across from the Town Hall and the former
location of the Congregational Church. Her gravestone reads: Sarah B.,
wife of David B. Rogers, died March 16, 1872, aged 51 yrs. "Blessed
are the pure in heart for they shall see God."
