A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From an unidentified contemporary newspaper: Ernestine M. Barnum, 69, died Thursday in El Paso, Texas. She was born in Arkansas and had been a resident of Silver City for many years. She is survived by one daughter, Joy Watkins of El Paso. Texas; one son, Gary Barnum of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Earline Herbert of Camarillo, Cali. and one brother, Fred Gay of Silver City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Charles Barnum, in 1985. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Fort Bayard National Cemetery with Mancel Murtensen officiating. Arrangements are by the Wheeler Funeral Home.
