Edith Lyon's uncle Robert Lyon died in the last known duel in Canada and was a law student with George Radenhurst, a brother of Edith's mother, Catherine Radenhurst Lyon.
This date of death is taken from the family bible; her headstone reads 1907.
She was buried in Saint George's Anglican Cemetery.
