Obituary from an unidentified contemporary newspaper: Mr. Barnum passed away March 21, 2007, at his home. He was born in 1936, in Geneva. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He also loved to ride his motorcycle and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Mr. Barnum worked as a truck driver for Willow Hill Industries. Survivors are his wife, Pat (Cafferty) Barnum, whom he married June 5, 1959, in Painesville; sons, L. Mark (Emily) Barnum of Sheffield Lake and Joseph G. Barnum of Madison; daughter, Dawn Barnum of Madison; grandchildren, Justine and Andrew Barnum; sisters, Emma (Lynn) Butte of Geneva and Lillian Kirkingburg of Ashtabula; and many nieces and nephews. His daughter, Patricia Ann; parents, Marion (Rood) and Leon Barnum; a brother; and a sister, are deceased.
