From Find A Grave: Services for Willis James Barnum, 75, of Painesville, a retired machine operator, will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 N. State St., Painesville.
Mr. Barnum died March 16 at Greenlawn Healthcare Center in Concord Township.
Born April 7, 1918, in Painesville, he was a lifetime resident.
He was a member of St. Mary Church in Painesville and Veterans of Foreign War Post 7754 in Fairport Harbor.
He was a machine operator for the former Ohio Rubber Co. in Willoughby for 41 years, retiring in 1980. He also retired from the shipping department of the Evans Glue Factory in Painesville in 1992.
Survivors are his wife, Margaret (Gergely); sons, Barry of Cleveland, Tenn., Lee Blankenship of Hudson; Jerry Wayman of Middlefield, John Hall of Seattle, Wash., and Jim Hall of Painesville; daughters, Sandra DeLeon of Brunswick and Terri Marotta of Euclid; brothers, Vernie Barnum of San Bernardino, Calif., and Floyd Barnum of Port Charlotte, Fla.; sister Florence Adams of Geneva; 18 grandchildren ; and one great-grandson.
