Duran -- Flora Barnum Duran, 90, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, July 31, 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Bertha Estrada of Cuba, NM; son, Carlos Duran and wife, Sostena of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Sammy Estrada and wife, Sharon. Dr. Naomi Campos, MD and husband, Joe, Valda Keliikuli and husband, William, Kevin Estrada, Renee Ortiz and husband, Charles, Leo Duran and fiance Terry, Carlos G. Duran and wife, Denise, and Andrew Duran and wife, JoAnn; fourteen great-grandchildren; brother, Bert Barnum of Albuquerque; sisters, Mae Novack of Castle Rock, CO, Edna Perong of California, Ella Gallegos of Tacoma, WA, Audrey Barnum and Viola Barnum-Rodriguez of Albuquerque. Mrs. Duran was preceded in death by her husband, Margarito Duran in 1970. Mass will be celebrated Monday, August 3, at 9:00 a.m. at French Mortuary Chapel, 1111 University Blvd NE, with Deacon Bob Lewis, Celebrant. Interment to follow at Sandia Memorial Gardens.
