A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Bridgeport Telegram of May 17, 1951: Services for Mrs. Christine P. Barnum, 58, of 255 Saunders St, wife of Percival T. Barnum, who died Tuesday night in Bridgeport Hospital where she was admitted Monday as a Medical patient, will take place today at 2 PM in the Albert Spear funeral home with the Rev. William Sullivan, pastor of the Second Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Grove Cemetery. A native of Ayershire, Scotland, Mrs. Barnum lived here 50 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, William and James; five daughters, Mrs. John Bissenden, Mrs. J. Hunt Tomlinson, Miss Christine Barnum, Mrs Crawford Overton all of Bridgeport and Mrs. Robert Howell of Valdosta, GA. and 12 grandchildren.
