A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
In the 1850 US Census for Burns, Shiawssee County, Michigan, Deborah was enumerated together with her first husband, Abijah Payne Barnum, and their three children, Clarinda E., Urana E. and Elizabeth M. Barnum. Their fourth child, John W. Barnum, was born in 1851 and his father must have died between then and the 1860 census for the same place, when Deborah and her four children were enumerated together with her second husband, Abram Young. Abram was 20 years younger than his new wife.
