Notes for Anita Jane BARNUM


From the Plain Dealer, Cleveland, Ohio, April 17, 2011: Anita J. Lind (nee Barnum) 77, long time resident of Medina Township, went to be with the Lord and joined her life-long sweetheart, Ed. She lost her courageous battle with Cancer on Wednesday, April 13, "Together Again" 2011. She was born July 14, 1933 in Pontiac, Michigan to William and Lily (nee Esche) Barnum. Anita married Ed and celebrated 61 years together. She was a good Christian woman, loving wife and devoted mother and grandma. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery and making quilts for everyone in the family. Anita also sewn items, blankets and clothes for the Linus Club for children in hospitals. Anita was very active at Weymouth Community Church. Surviving are her sons; Kent (Pam), Ryan (Sue), Eric (Denise), Dale (Dawn) and Ven, daughters; Jill Norton, Dian Lind, (Randy) Luan Haas (John); her beloved 18 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Anita was called mom and grandma by many special people in her life. Preceded in death by her husband Ed; infant child Kyle; grandson Adam King; great-grandchild Erica; her parents; brother Eddie; brother-in-law Paul MacMillan. Burial to follow in Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick.
