A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Dunkirk (NY) Evening Observer, Monday, April 3, 1944: Friends in Fredonia have received word of the death of Mrs. Ward Barnum at Hamburg last Wednesday. She was buried in Forest Hill cemetery here Friday. Mrs. Barnum resided in Fredonia a number of years when her husband was contracted with the Taber Felt factory. Both Mr. and Mrs. Barnum were active in local social and civic affairs of that period. Mr. Barnum died some time ago. A brother George McNoe of St. Catharines, Ontario survives.
