Descendant Diane Kienholz says: "I have an old picture of (Mom) Janet Bebe that was taken when she was 4 years old and took first place at the Puyallup Fair. Her mother entered her in a voice and screen test for a world search for new screen personalities. She was a very cute baby. A cute curly red head. She was adopted when she was a few days old and it was not untill her parents died and she was 70 years old that she OK'd the search for her birth parents. After about a year it was found that her birth mother had died and we found out she had two boys. In Oct of 2002 we had a very special family reunion where my Mom got to meet her two brothers and their families. Pictures were brought and Mom looks like my birth grandmother. She was young and unmarried when she had my Mom. The birth certificate shows the father as a sailor on the USS Saratoga. We have not been able to find him yet (2002). Mom had a great childhood. She was born with the leading OB in the nation, Scott Jones. My grandpa wanted a boy but when grandma brought my mom home she won her father's heart. Mom remembers growing up around her grandparents on both sides that lived in Tacoma, near her. Many family gatherings with cousins filled her memories.
