[Note: In spite of the error in his father's birthplace (not at all uncommon in older census data), there is no other Albert Barnum born in New Mexico who is listed in either the 1900 or 1910 census year and this must be considered a strong possibility. Still, it is not known with certainty that this is the correct Albert Barnum].

[Note: There are also several unanswered questions about this Albert Barnum. If this is Albert, son of Albert, why is his birth year given as 1871 instead of 1868? Where were his wife and oldest two daughters in the 1910 census, when he was enmuerated as single? We are left with the impression that we may be dealing with at least two different persons with the same name].
