Notes for Dwight Searl BARNUM


Dwight Barnum arrived at the port of New York on 17 April 1924 aboard S.S. Fort Saint George from Hamilton, Bermuda.
From the Syracuse Herald-Journal, Thursday, November 10, 1966: Dwight Searl Barnum, 73, of Jasper Street former president of Barnum Heating Co. died yesterday in Veterans Administration Hospital. A native Syracusan, Mr. Barnum was a member of Park Central Presbyterian Church. He attended Travis Prep School and Syracuse University and was a member of Psi Upsilon fraternity. Mr. Barnum was a World War I Naval Air Force veteran and was one of the founders of the Onondaga Kennel Club. Surviving are his widow Mrs. Elizabeth Ross Barnum and several cousins. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
