A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Watertown, Daily Times, Watertown, NY, Friday, April 3, 1970: Syracuse — Mrs. Eleanor Crouse Barnum, widow of Jerome D. Barnum, former publisher of the Syracuse Post-Standard, died unexpectedly at her home Thursday afternoon. The body was removed to the Fairchild and Meech Funeral Home.
She is survived by two sons, Jerome D., Pasadena, Calif.; T. Crouse, Fayetteville; a daughter, Mrs. Lucia B. Wilson, Milwaukee, Wis.; and 10 grandchildren. She was married to Jerome D. Barnum June 28, 1916, in Syracuse, and he died Jan. 16, 1965 at the age of 76.
