Judith Ann Engebretsen, 62, 1909 Church St., died at her home Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002. Services will be at 6 p.m. Monday at Boston Funeral Home, with the Rev. Woody Baumgartner officiating. Interment will be later in Boscobel. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home until the services. A memorial has been established in her name in lieu of flowers. Mrs. Engebretsen was born June 22, 1939, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Antone and Mildred (Barnum) Porter. She attended local schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1957. She also attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Mid-State Technical College. Her employment included Sentry Insurance, the County-City Building and the National Wellness Institute for 15 years until the fall of 2001. She was married to William K. Engebretsen in 1973. They later divorced. Survivors include three daughters, Erin Engebretsen, Stevens Point, Emily (Michael) Johnson, Manawa, and Elizabeth Bourn, Irvine, Calif.; two sisters, Virginia Porter, Stevens Point, and Kathryn Porter, Palm Springs, Calif.; and three grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one brother.
