A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Morning Herald, Utica, NY, December 14, 1875: Mrs. D. V. W. Golden died at her residence in New Hartford yesterday morning. This announcement will be received with surprise and regret by a large circle of friends, few of whom were aware of her dangerous Illness. The deceased was the eldest daughter of Ezra S. Barnum and a native of this city. Those who know her best speak in the highest terms of the goodness of her heart, her generous disposition and her devotion to the interests and happiness of her family and friends, She leaves a daughter and son and a large number of relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
