William was a citizen and goldsmith who lived in the parish of of Saint Edmund King & Martyr, Lombard Street. His will was dated 1595.
Wighton is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It is situated some 6 km south of the town of Wells-next-the-Sea, 12 km north of the town of Fakenham, and 45 km north-west of the city of Norwich. The medieval pilgrimage center of Walsingham lies 3 km to the south. Wighton is on the River Stiffkey and used to have a watermill, which was demolished in May 1866.
