A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
Abel Conant came from Vermont and settled in the northeast part of the town of Bainbridge, on the farm occupied by the widow of Henry Scott, where he lived until his death. He was among the first to settle Bainbridge, along with several others, but the exact date is not known.
