A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Chronicle Telegram, Elyria, Ohio, August 20, 1971: Mrs. Leila A. Buse, 81, of 1121 Hickory St., Grafton, died this morning in Elyria Memorial Hospital a few hours after admittance. She had been in failing health with a heart ailment for the past five months. Mrs. Buse was born in Olmsted Falls, Ohio and had lived in the Grafton area 34 years. She was a graduate nurse of Mercy Hospital, Cadillac, Mich., and St. Ann's Maternity Hospital, Cleveland. Her husband, Walter W. died in 1947. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Wells (Irene) Mole Jr., Grafton, Mrs. Frances Selecky, North Olmsted and Mrs. Mary Jean Masselle, Hallstead, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; three brothers, Frank and Elmer Barnum, both of Berea and Paul Barnum of Valley City, and four sisters, Rose and Agnes Barnum and Mrs. Helen Barnum Danalds all of Berea and Mrs. Marion Cooper of Valley City. Burial will be in St. Mary of the Falls Cemetery, Olmsted Falls.
