Florence Barnum Kenney. Louisiana (Missouri) Sept. 27, 1913 - July 7, 2005. Louisiana, MO - Florence Barnum Kenney, 91, of Louisiana, died Thursday, July 7, 2005, at Maple Grove Lodge Nursing Home in Louisiana. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 11, at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana. The Rev. Jimmy Spear will officiate. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Louisiana.Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at the funeral home. Mrs. Kenney was born Sept. 27, 1913, in Louisiana to Joseph and Verna Branstetter Barnum. She was married to Clifford Kenney on Jan. 21, 1934, in Hannibal. He preceded her in death May 15, 1985. Survivors include three nieces, Donna Bradley of Louisiana, Kathy Correll of Southport, N.C., and Margo Roof of Tavares, Fla.; seven nephews, Rusty Pollard of Leesburg, Fla., Dennis Pollard of the state of Texas, John Barnum of Hawaii, Edward Barnum of Bonfield, Ill., Richard Barnum of the state of Kansas, Bill Barnum of the state of Mississippi and Kenneth Barnum of the state of California; one brother, Charles Barnum of Columbia; and great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Barnum and Richard Barnum; and one sister, Margaret Pollard. Mrs. Kenney had been employed at the Garment Factory in Louisiana as a seamstress until her retirement. She was a graduate of Louisiana High School and was a member of the First Christian Church in Louisiana.
