Notes for Gertrude Lenore BARNUM


Trudy Frolke passed away at the Bretheren Retirement Home. She was born in Vermontville, Mich. to the late Perry C. and Frances (Warner) Barnum. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Victor; and a sister Bealah Grubius. Trudy attended the Lansing Business University. She was retired from Bradford High School with 28 years of service; had worked for seven years at the Lake Odessa Schools in Michigan; was a member, past organist and deaconess of the Bradford Church of the Brethren; was a member of the Bradford Lioness Club; was past organist for Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home; and was a member of the Ohio Education Association. Trudy is survived by her husband of 61 years, Darrell L. Frolke; son and daughter-in-law Gregory A. and Debbie Frolke; two step-grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The funeral was held at the Bradford Church of the Brethren with Pastor John Shelton officiating. Interment was at Harris Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bradford Church of the Brethren or Compassionate Hearts, Inc., of Fountain City, Indiana.
