Eustis, Fla. — Aletha Viena Dibble, 83, of Mount Dora, Fla., and Caroga Lake, N.Y., died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1999, at Florida Hospital, Eustis, Fla. She was born in Lexington, N.Y., on Sept. 13, 1916, the daughter of Ernest and Gertrude (Ives) Barnum. She was married to Bruce Dibble who survives at home, Mount Dora, Fla.; as do two sons, Michael Dibble of Foster, Okla., and Dickson Dibble of Monticello, Fla.; a daughter, Donna Allen of Astatula, Fla.; a sister, Audrey Lee Barnum [this is actually her brother, Audry Leo "Lee" Barnum] of Dover, Del.; and five grandchildren. She was employed by Stanley Home Products for 35 years. Funeral services will take place on Monday, Dec. 20, 1999, at 2 p.m. at the MacArthur Funeral Home, Hobart, N.Y., with Pastor Richard Elder officiating. Calling hours will be Sunday evening, Dec. 19, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Spring burial will be in Valley View Cemetery, Rose's Brook, South Kortright, N.Y. Arrangements are with the MacArthur Funeral Home, Hobart.
