A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname

Notes for Mary SEOY

After Albert Davis died, Mary married Lew Johnson, a barber who later managed an Opera house in Grand Forks, British Columbia, Canada. Lew died in
February 1910 and Mary became a widow again. She was listed as such in the 1911 Census of Canada. About November 1910 she accepted a position as a housekeeper for a family that moved to Lima, Peru. The head of the family was apparently a smelter manager who had previously held that same position near Grand Forks. Although the contract was for two years Mary appears in the 1911 Canada census. Perhaps her daughter Ida included her?
