Frederick Allen Haynes, 64 years, passed to heaven on July 25, 2009, in his home, with his family by his side. Fred was born March 30, 1945, in Ava, Mo., to Roland and Florence (Barnum) Haynes. On June 28, 1964, Fred and Doris Martin were united in marriage in Ava, Mo., and to this union two wonderful sons were born. Fred was the owner of Missouri Home Insulation Co. and also a farmer and a builder. He was a Christian and a member of Hopedale Baptist Church, Ozark, Mo. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He hunted in many states and got the opportunity to go on an African Safari with his brother, Richard. He was a life member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and member of the National Wild Turkey Federation. Most of all Fred loved his family and especially loved to share the outdoors with his grandchildren. Fred was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Max Earl Haynes; and one sister, Betty O'Keefe. Fred is survived by his wife of 45 years, Doris Haynes, Ava, Mo.; two sons and their spouses, Allen and Rachel Haynes, Springfield, Mo., and Casey and Rhonda Haynes, Bruner, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Caleb, MaKayla, Kylie, Chandler, Cooper, Kidron and Chloe; three brothers and their wives, Robert and Joanne Haynes, Kingfisher, Okla., J.R. Haynes, McAllen, Texas, and Richard and Shirley Haynes, Linwood, Kan.; one sister and husband, Donna and John Dixon, Springfield, Mo.; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Fred will be Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at 2 p.m., in Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Mo., with burial in Ellison Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, July 27, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Terry Kindrick. Family requests memorials may be made to Ellison Cemetery.
